14 Ways To Achieve Ultimate Happiness

Image result for happiness

I am a great fan of Rob Moore. I love his podcasts and I love his blog posts. Millionaire minds have something in common - they all hold the same values... this is his latest article...

"Most of us, especially entrepreneurs, don’t celebrate enough, or enjoy the moment, as we are always too busy looking ahead and delaying your happiness. Many people stop celebrating birthdays as they get older, too, which is said. So on my 39th birthday, one year from an apparently scary age, I thought I’d celebrate with you with 14 ways to be more happy, celebrate more and appreciate what you have.

Here they are; they are easy to do and must come from you, rather than waiting for them to happen:

1. Happiness is Gratitude

Gratitude is a practice. You do it, and get better and it, and in turn receive more. So count your blessings daily. Note down five things you are grateful for, ideally when you wake and before you go to bed. You can’t feel gratitude and any negative emotion simultaneously. Gratitude will over-write your pain, sadness and struggles. It is easy to do when you are feeling good, but most important to do when you are not. Practice gratitude for small things as well as big things, make it a daily habit, and you will experience more of it in your life.

2. Celebrate more

Celebrating big victories is easy, but they can be a long time coming. So celebrate the small things too. Reward yourself according to the size of the result, and reward yourself often. Share your progress and victories with people you care about, too, without feeling guilty or trying to show off. If you don’t teach yourself to celebrate and reward yourself often, you will never allow yourself to be satisfied and you will forever delay those great feelings.

3. Make things FUN. Take your art seriously but not yourself

By all means take your work and your art seriously, but go easy on yourself. Sometimes you are your harshest critic. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself, others will do that for you. Enjoy the moment. Have fun. Laugh. Enjoy your time choosing to see the best in it. Make fun of yourself from time to time, people will be attracted to your lightness and spirit.

4. Be around great, fun, smart, interesting NICE people

Sometimes it is hardest to lift ourselves up, because we are in our own way. A great and easier way to lift yourself up is be around smart, inspiring and fun people. Choose your friends and your network wisely. It is magical when around great people and like helps you ‘stand on the shoulders of giants’. They can care for you and help you when you are down, and can put you back into line when you get ahead of yourself.

5. Be NICE. Care. Do & give RAOK

It costs nothing to be nice, and it is just as easy to be nice as it is to be a git. You don’t know what people are going through, so assume they are doing their best and seek to understand them. Care about others. give gratefully, and perform ROAKs (random acts of kindness). This is selfish as well as selfless, because it feels amazing!

6. Challenge yourself to confront your fears. Immediately

The more you challenge yourself, the more victories, rewards and feelings of satisfaction you will experience. The problem with being comfortable is that you don’t get rewards, wins and the feeling of progress towards something meaningful. Sure, life will throw you some curveballs, so challenge yourself to accept them, roll up your sleeves and master them. It will be messy in the middle but boy will you feel great at the end.

7. Be creative. Give yourself space for ideas

Give yourself some time and space, both physically and mentally. Ideas and creativity will come into your mind once you empty your mind of clutter and noise. Take some time away. Have time alone each day. Be bored every now and again. Try new things. Slow down.

8. Listen & watch more, and talk less

Listen to and watch people. you learn more than when you are talking all the time. You will see the beautiful moments in your kids, staff and friends if you stop to listen and watch. Most people are just waiting to talk. Listen to podcasts and audiobooks. Watch educational documentaries. Learning is a gift.

9. Be PRESENT NOW

Most people are stuck living in the past holding on to all their baggage from years ago and bringing it into the present, or always looking into the future and therefore either miss the present moment or wish it away. The past and the future are traps that stop you from enjoying the moment right now. Pause. Slow down. Take it all in now. Appreciate where you are, not just where you want to go.

10. DREAM about the future, then formulate your master plan

Whilst trying to enjoy the present moment more, it is also exciting to dream about your amazing future. Allow yourself these moments, and don’t get stuck into being too realistic or worse pessimistic. Balance allowing yourself to dream big, with formulating a specific plan to take steps towards your dream, so that you can turn your dream into a reality.

11. Fix/solve problems

Most people wish problems away. They only go away when you solve them. See a problem as a gift that enables you to create a solution that helps others, builds your self worth (and your net worth). Your value goes up the bigger problem you solve, so enjoy the opportunity. You’re not necessarily going to love every minute of it, but the rewards are greater at the end than not having had the problem in the first place. Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better.

12. Love Yourself. Be Yourself. Trust Yourself

You can’t expect people to love you if you don’t love yourself. You won’t attract the right people into your life, if you aren’t yourself, because showing the world a false version of you, whether over or underplaying yourself, will attract people who are attracted to the false version of you. You know who you are, when others and yourself are not judging. Trust yourself that this version of you is the version the world wants and needs to see. Sure, it takes courage, but courage is in built in you, and a false version of you is as likely to be rejected as a real version of you. Some people will reject you anyway, so you might as well be yourself.

13. Let GO

By all means dream, set a goal and make a plan, but then let go of the need for perfection and over control. Some things and people you can’t control. The need for control sets expectations too high and you will always feel frustrated or let down. Let your kids and your staff and your friends be themselves, and where you need to, help them, guide them and love them, but let them be them, and be happy however things play out. You won or you learn. You earn or you learn. Resist the need too control by defending, blaming, complaining or justifying, just smile, and move on.

14. Watch comedy. Smile. Laugh. See the good in things.

I hope these help you, and you take time to care for yourself, celebrate more, and practice gratitude, happiness and presence, rather than wait for or delay it."

10 Toxic Habits You Need To Destroy To Be Successful

Here's a dangerously close-to-the-bone article by Chris Dessi, and for me it certainly rings worryingly true for 2 of these....

...which are your Achilles heel?:

We all want to be successful, but we don't want to face what's holding us back. Many of us ignore blind spots, only to fall prey to our shortcomings down the line. So how can we trim the fat, cut our faults to the bone, and get into the habit of success?

Here are 10 toxic habits you need to destroy to allow success to find you:

1. Idolizing those who have already done it.

We all need people to learn from. My concern kicks in when leaders of industry take on a near deity status. I have a huge amount of respect for many of them, but they're not you. Nobody is living your journey.

Use their experience to help guide you, but nobody has the same path to success. Success has indicators and certain certain patterns, but use the pieces that apply to you and dispel the rest.

2. Comparing yourself to peers.

This past weekend I visited a friend's summer home. It was larger than my full-time residence. I joked with his wife that I want to be happy for them, but there's this small part of me that hates them. So, I get it. We all want to have what we don't have. But there is a time when you need to let go of comparison.

Take that energy and focus on how you can improve your performance as it compares to itself.

3. Rationalizing not trying.

Nothing is worse than saying "if only." Things are the way they are. Define what you want to change, and go about changing it. If you can't leave your job because you have to pay your mortgage, I get it. But don't complain you want to start a business, and say "I wish."

No more wishing. Stop watching Netflix, or golfing, or going to the Yankees game, and use that time to build your business and break free. Or just shut up about it.

4. Feeding a low opinion of yourself.

I've met people who've been in one job for years and think they're destined to be miserable in that role forever. You have the capacity to learn a new skill, and you can jump industries. It will be difficult, but what happens if you never try?

Shake off the fear of the unknown, dispel your self-limiting belief that hugely successful people are more talented than you. They're just a bit more obsessed.

Become obsessed and make power moves that nobody expects.

5. Pointing fingers.

Nobody is responsible for your good or bad fortune except you. Nobody. Deal with it.

6. Judging others.

Rich people aren't necessarily entitled. Many of them worked their butts off for what they have. Poor people aren't lazy, they just don't know any better, and are stuck.

Get past your judgments, and move forward.

7. Needing to have all the answers.

When confronted with a hard question, the best thing you can say is "I don't know." Then go find the answer. You don't have all the answers, but if you're smart enough to surround yourself with motivated people who support you, you'll get the right answer eventually.

8. Seeking perfection.

You will break some eggs on your road to success. Nothing will ever be perfect.

You can strive for greatness, but you can't lament when you miss the mark.

9. Prioritizing comfort.

Throughout your journey, you will be uncomfortable. You will feel insecure. You will feel self-doubt. You may even feel panicked. Get used to that feeling and keep moving.

Discomfort won't kill you. But succumbing to self-pity will.

10. Waiting.

There is never a perfect time to start a business, sell a business, or move to the next challenge in your career.

If you feel the need, take the first step. Right now.

Suffering Information Overload? Address The Core Problem...

A massive factor that held me back from achieving any sort of results, for the first 5 or 6 months in my attempts to start an online business, and I don't mean monetary results (although I didn't get a single dollar during this time) - I mean actually getting things done - was the fact that I just could not see the woods for the trees.

I know this is a common problem because there are always times when I have to focus and re-assure my team members and my family members, to steer them in the right direction and keep their distractions at a minimum, and help them to take sometimes uncomfortable steps towards an end goal.

There are also still plenty of occasions when I have to go to my more experienced friends and mentors to get re-focused myself - it's just inevitable in such a crowded market place where everyone is vying for your attention. With advice from my mentors I have put this piece together...

Information overload is definitely one of the biggest problems that most struggling Online Marketers face, however, the truth is that it’s only actually a symptom of a deeper problem.

Now stay with me for this... and please don't be offended (certainly not my intention - just want to get to the crux of the problem)...

To understand fully the root cause of overload, we need to admit to ourselves that the only reason Information Overload can ever occur to us in the first place is because we are not taking action on the information we already know.

Digging a little deeper, the only reason that you wouldn’t be taking action on what you already know is because you don’t have confidence in the fact that the actions you take will produce a positive result…. Or… you don’t have confidence in your ability to execute.

Deeper still, and we find the only reason that we have the pre-assumption that the actions we're going to take won’t produce a positive result, when those actions and processes that we've been taught have been proven to work for others, boils down to an issue having to do with our own self confidence… Or unfortunately, our lack there of.

Now, that's not to say we are not a self-confident person all aspects of life, but when it comes to stepping into an arena where we have little past experience to use as a reference point, and where the more experienced are pulling us in every which direction, it's no wonder we are lost, confused and lacking in confidence.

We live in a society where low levels of self confidence are common-place. People are always comparing themselves to other people. And then even when you achieve some certain result that you’ve been working towards, there’s always someone doing something else better than you. So you then begin comparing yourself to others in that arena that they're outperforming you in.

It’s a vicious cycle that never ends well and will keep you in a perpetual state of wanting until the very last.

So… let's talk about building confidence. The only way to build confidence is to take any area of your life or business that you're uncomfortable facing, and take action in that field. If you’re uncomfortable with spending money on traffic, start spending money on traffic. If you’re uncomfortable getting in front of the camera to make videos, make a video today. The same goes for anything else in your general life.

If you’re afraid of meeting new people, the only way you’ll ever get over that fear is to get yourself out there and meet some people. If you’re afraid of speaking out and making your point in the midst of others refuting your views, get out and just do it. Building confidence in any area of your life comes down to getting out of your comfort zone and forcing yourself to take action when you don’t want to… Simple as that.

Confidence comes from knowledge, knowledge comes from experience, experience comes from over-coming our fears, stepping out into the unknown, and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone.

So… the key to achieving vision and focus is to realize that if we're dealing with information overload, the truth is that we’re actually dealing with a much deeper problem revolving around a lack of self confidence in our abilities to execute. And while it's painful to deal with these kind of issues, the only way to ever solve any problem is to address it at its core.

So… whatever it is that is holding you back, first acknowledge it. Then get out there and start building your self confidence back up by taking action and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone in any area of your life you may be struggling with confidence in.

Onwards and Upwards!

Julian
P.S. If you got any value out of this, or even if you hated it, let me know. Good or bad, Comment below, I like to hear it.

What area of your life or business are you going to begin taking action in to build your self confidence? Let me now by commenting - I'm be really interested to hear from you

Success Is In Belief - $1k Days Are Ordinary Nowadays

I know you hear it from the gurus that they were broke and at the brink of collapse and so on and so forth, and how they turned their fortunes around (do not necessarily believe what these 'gurus' have to say as they have other dark motives that I want to tell you about another time).

But for me, an ordinary person, with ordinary intellect and ordinary self-doubts, it was absolutely true.

I wish it wasn't so for the sake of my suffering family and for my own will and preserve that were coming to their utter end.

I know now that what got me through was down to "belief".

I had my fingers in a dozen or so so-called 'opportunities' but I had yet to make a single dime. When I thought I'd found a system to make money I just couldn't commit fully as my gut instinct said that something was just wrong.

This went on for months, draining my time, money and my motivation. I was trying to put on a brave face for my partner and family but inside I was deeply concerned. I was also very stressed.

I was totally overwhelmed with the whole business...

I'll share with you now the one true reason why I managed to make a go of internet marketing. It's honest and upfront - I hope you know me to be that by now.

Just as I was about to focus on a particular online venture (no doubt another dead loss), one Friday evening I had a Facebook message from a friend - an also struggling internet marketer: "Want high ticket sales?"

I instantly replied "Yes!", excited but sceptical.

She told me of an opportunity that sounded too good to be true. I was actually sold on the outset, but I was torn - I was also very sceptical at the same time... a very nerve-racking situation. I saw the sense of it but I needed to see more.

I needed proof.

So I decided to hang back a bit. I messaged her daily, asking how she was progressing - I really wanted to know how she was doing. She replied daily, and she was honest with me - she was a friend after all. It was a slow start but she was building...

After just one week she made $97, and within just 2 weeks she got her first $1,000 sale.

That tipped the balance for me, she was a friend and I knew this was true and the one. I was in and started the training and committed. I had the proof that the system worked, so I got involved.

But and a big 'but'.. I couldn't quite completely fully commit. I could see the blueprint working and I could see that it was actually bringing in money, but something deep inside was holding me back.

Belief.

I knew I'd found the system and I knew it was good, but what I didn't know then that I do now; I just had to believe...

The problem was that I had been bitten so many times - I'd been on dozens of webinars, bought countless products and my frustration and overwhelm was, well.. absolutely overwhelming.

I was suspicious.

I know now that this was holding me back from this opportunity... so guess what?

My advice to you is the same as I did my self: Suspend your dis-beliefs when your gut tells you to do so.

Above all, don't be foolish, but "if you don't risk anything, you risk everything"

If you want to change your life and achieve financial freedom, this is absolutely guaranteed - you will get 500% you money back if you do not succeed.... and you only need a single dollar.

...but don't worry, you *won't* want to ask for anything back - you will get money. It's working for me and I'm a newbie to this programme, and it will work for you!

It's also working for hundreds of other like minded entrepreneurs, some have $1,000, $3,000 and even $5,000 days.

Find out more right here: $1,000 Days

To Your Success!

Julian

ps. turn you mind around, you deserve more - it's absolutely life-changing

Yes, please, I want to change my life!
